Set up in four steps
Add to Chrome
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and select Add to Chrome.
Pin the extension
Pin Unfollow Assistant so its icon stays visible in your toolbar.
Open Instagram
Sign in to Instagram in the same Chrome window and leave the tab open.
Start Analysis
Click the extension icon, then select Start Analysis to run your first scan.

Local-first, with optional backup
The extension scans through the Instagram session already open in Chrome and stores its working data locally. If you sign in to Unfollow Assistant, it can also back up protected accounts and action history.
Rapid or repetitive activity can trigger Instagram restrictions. Our conservative recommendation is batches of roughly 30–50 with an hour or two between them, but Instagram publishes no guaranteed-safe threshold. The extension stops when it recognizes a restriction response.
