• Your Instagram username (when you are logged in to Instagram)
• Your followers list (usernames and profile information visible on your profile)
• Your following list (usernames and profile information visible on your profile)
• Sync timestamps and action history

How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to:

• Identify accounts that don't follow you back (non-mutuals)
• Display your follower/following statistics
• Enable you to manage your Instagram following list
• Provide sync history and analytics within the extension

Data Storage

Follower and following lists are processed and stored locally using Chrome's storage API. If you sign in to an Unfollow Assistant account, the extension can also back up protected accounts, and blocked and unfollowed history to our account service. We do not upload your Instagram password or browser cookies.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Follower and following list processing remains in your browser
• Optional account backups are limited to protected accounts and action history
• We never store or request your Instagram password
• The extension operates using your existing Instagram browser session
• We do not sell Instagram data or share it with advertisers

Instagram Credentials

We never collect, store, or have access to your Instagram password. The extension works by utilizing your existing authenticated session in your browser. You must be logged in to Instagram in Chrome for the extension to function.

Third-Party Services

This extension interacts with Instagram (instagram.com) through your existing browser session. Account sign-in, optional backups, subscription billing, and service emails use our contracted infrastructure providers only as needed to deliver those services. We do not sell your Instagram data or share it with advertisers.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: View all stored data through the extension's analyzer panel
• Delete: Clear all data by using the "Clear Data" button in the extension or by uninstalling it
• Export: Export your data using the "Dump Data" feature in diagnostics
• Account data: Contact support to request access to or deletion of account-backed records
• Revoke: Uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data collection

Children's Privacy

Our extension is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Essential storage keeps you signed in to your Unfollow Assistant account and remembers your cookie choice and theme. Where analytics or other non-essential cookies are used, they are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

The extension itself does not set advertising cookies, and it never sends your Instagram cookies to our servers.
